Africa-Has Borne Many Stars.
For years and years the continent of Africa has tolerated pain, political turmoil, famine, and the lack of basic human respect from many other nations. But the ironic part is that the continent and its countries have never ceased to produce honorable, hardworking, and success-driven individuals. The verb to bear has many meanings; among them is the act of giving birth, of creating. From the slaves brought to the Americas way back when, to recent immigrants, Africa has brought forth a mass of stars, individuals who have no choice but to shine and make their difference.

Artist Statement- Burkinabe Couture-Express ta vie change des vies- This design embodies the name of my clothing line. I started drawing a few years ago, as well as sewing and making clothes. It is indeed my passion. When I drew this, I embodied the African continent with the country of Burkina Faso highlighted, I was born there. I love Africa and its people. My motivation for starting this line was to give back to my people. Burkina Faso is Land-locked, so it faces many agricultural difficulties. I am working with a company that funds agricultural projects, so indeed by supporting this clothing line you are enabling yourself to express your life and change lives all at once!
