Artist Statement- Burkinabe Couture-Express ta vie change des vies- This design embodies the name of my clothing line. I started drawing a few years ago, as well as sewing and making clothes. It is indeed my passion. When I drew this, I embodied the African continent with the country of Burkina Faso highlighted, I was born there. I love Africa and its people. My motivation for starting this line was to give back to my people. Burkina Faso is Land-locked, so it faces many agricultural difficulties. I am working with a company that funds agricultural projects, so indeed by supporting this clothing line you are enabling yourself to express your life and change lives all at once!
